VMware pricing program, the Quilt, and Carahsoft

Martin Gavin, Carahsoft VMware Program Manager
October 18, 2017

  • The Quilt contract offers the highest discounts available outside of Enterprise Licensing Agreements which have an entry point of $250,000.00
  • Purchase as little or as much as you need
  • The Quilt contract was pre-competed through the public RFP process. This can often save the time and resources involved in putting together an RFI, RFQ, or RFP.
  • All VMware products and services are available on the Quilt contract. This includes subscription and support which are not typically discounted outside of an ELA
  • The Quilt contract is designed to allow all VMware partners access.
  • The Quilt is a simple consumption based convenience contract. Your order and receipt of goods process will typically remain the same.
  • Enterprise Licensing Agreements can be purchased through the contract vehicle.
  • Benchmarks are built-in for this contract: as more people use it, the discounts to the member community increase.
