Ryan has 6+ years of experience, in a number of roles, within regional optical networking. He started in networking as a mechanical engineer designing optical network hardware. Over the years, between stints at vendors Cyan Optics and Ciena Corporation, Ryan spent time in roles of Network Support Engineer, Application Engineering, and Sales Consulting (Systems) Engineering. These roles covered hardware and software aspects of designing, operating, and automating regional optical networks.

Ryan has been with I-Light since July of 2017 and has enjoyed being a part of the I-Light team. Ryan is excited to continue his career in a service provider role and looks forward to supporting I-Light members and the I-Light network in any way possible.
